The Bailcast range of Fitting Tools has been specifically designed for use with our Duraboot® and Universal stretchy CV boot ranges.

Using either the Duragun® or Duralec® enables the mechanic to quickly install the replacement CV boot without the need to dismantle the driveshaft or joint. This not only saves time but also eliminates the possibility of damage to the joint during the dismantling process.

A quicker installation enables more ramp time to be available which in turn means the product will soon pay for itself.
Typical fitting time is reduced to only 20 minutes when using either of these tools, and that includes the removal and refitting of the road wheel.
Choose either model and you will be able to fit replacement CV boots to all joint sizes, no need for 2 different sized units.

Alternatively the Fitting Cone is a tried and tested method and has been used for years. When coupled with the specially formulated Bailcast Cone Lubricant the CV boot will slide freely down and off the cone. This Cone Lubricant has been formulated so that there is no residue left that could attract dirt and works far better than applying grease or silicolne spray to the cone.
