world leaders
ESTABLISHED 1980
Bailcast have been manufacturing and distributing rubber vehicle components, as well as the associated tools and accessories, since its establishment.
Established in 1980, by Philip Hayward, Bailcast still continues to lead the automotive aftermarket with its innovative products.
In 2020, following Philips decision to retire, the company was purchased by the existing Management team. This meant everything remained ‘business as usual’ not only for the staff but also the global network of distributors and customers who, over the years, have come to rely on Bailcast for their top quality products and service to match.
Located in Chorley, a small market town in North West England. Bailcast started supplying steering rack boot kits to UK garages but over time developed market leading products and a large network of global distributors that currently cover over 40 countries stretching as far as Australia and New Zealand.
Duraboot®, designed and manufactured exclusively by Bailcast, was the original aftermarket stretchy CV boot and remains the market leader. Also found under the Duraboot® brand is a range of steering rack boot kits, 6 standard and 3 power steering, manufactured from the same material as the CV boots. The material blend has taken decades to perfect and is a closely guarded industry secret.
Along with the CV boots Bailcast also designed and manufacture the Duragun® and DuragunPRO® pneumatic CV boot fitting tools.
All products are covered by worldwide patents and backed by the Bailcast ‘No Quibble’ quality guarantee.
Continuous innovation has made Bailcast the market leader whilst the Company-wide commitment to quality has enabled them to stay there.
Research and development play a large part in the Bailcast success but they have never shied away from their traditional values. Bailcast have always remained true to their British heritage.
Bailcast offer state of the art design alongside the unrivalled quality that comes from British manufacture; they have built a truly British brand which continues to lead the automotive market.
