Our boots have been designed to fit many applications saving time, money and space. They are manufactured from a material compound that has taken decades to perfect and is a closely guarded industry secret. The compound makes them both extremely stretchable and hardwearing.
We recommend the CSP50 cone lubricant. This has been formulated specifically for the installation of the boots. It does not have any detrimental effect to the boot compound and leaves no residue after installation is completed.
The grease sachet included in the kit is sufficient to top up the CV-joint. Any excess grease should be disposed of and not used to fill the inside of the CV boot.
To tighten the clamp a special ear clamp tool must be used to avoid damaging the clamp. A side cut plier is not to be used as this will damage and/or snap the clamp. Please find the correct ear clamp tool on our website.
